SRX27318036: Phylogenomics of the Norton grape: Target capture hybrid enrichment of Norton grape and close Vitis relatives from leaf tisssue
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq X) run: 4.6M spots, 1.4G bases, 465.6Mb downloads

Design: 1013 nuclear loci and whole plastid genomes were sequenced from plant material representing Vitis aestivalis Norton and its close wild relatives from North America and Eurasia. Nuclear and plastome phylogenomic inferences, phylogenetic networks and Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms were used to determine potential hybrid origin and contributors.

show Abstracthide Abstract
The sequence records contained herein are derived from various studies on the phylogenomics of the commercially important grape family Vitaceae at Smithsonian Institution. Here, various techniques such as genome skimming were employed to obtain whole chloroplast genomes. This NCBI BioProject contains records that were generated with support from the federally-funded Smithsonian Institution Barcode Network, the US National Science Foundation (DEB 0743474 and 0743499), the Smithsonian Endowment Grants Program, and the Small GrantsProgram of the National Museum of Natural History.
